Every donation, big and small, goes a long way to making our work possible and making change a reality. While our specific funding needs are always evolving, here are examples of what your valuable contribution to Witness Change can help us achieve:
- $25 Translate one story
Witness Change meets and interviews people who share their stories in their native language so that they can present their story how they feel most comfortable and confident. To get this story to you, we rely on a team of volunteers, and professionals working at reduced rates, to translate stories into English. Your donation of $25 allows us to translate one story.
- $100 Sponsor two 1000 Dreams stories
For every 1000 Dreams story, we pay our storytellers a stipend to cover their costs. 1000 Dreams storytellers are participating in a learning workshop, but we believe their participation shouldn’t cost them anything. A donation of $100 ensures that the cost of two stories can be reimbursed.
- $500 Sponsor one Exhibition In A Box
Artwork and stories are a powerful way for grassroots organizations around the world to reach their communities and advocate for change, but they rarely have the resources to pay for these campaigns. A donation of $500 covers the cost of producing the exhibition packet that we send to local organizations, supporting their advocacy.
- $5000 Equip five 1000 Dreams storytellers
1000 Dreams storytellers tell the stories of their communities. But this can only happen if we support them with the tools (camera equipment) to do this work. Your donation of 5000 dollars supplies photography gear for five storytellers.
